Bafta Nomination
Our work Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets has been nominated for an achievment in special visual effects bafta. Of course we won't win, since we're up against Lord of the Rings and Minority Report! But it's nice to be thought of.

Oh and we're down to the final 7 in the Oscars. However I don't think we'll be making it to the final three announced on Feburary 11th.

Thunderbirds Are Go!
Since it's being reported in the press I can mention that Framestore CFC are doing the production previsualisation and film fx for the entirety of a new liveaction film of Thunderbirds.
Along with Harryhausen's Jason and the Argonauts, Thunderbirds, and more generally the series of Gerry Anderson, were what first made me want to do animation/visual effects. It's funny how life comes full circle sometimes.
